The Story

This is Slovo. 

Slovo lives on the planet Grov, where everything grows. 

 

Everything grows, and everyone grows things. Plants, trees, flowers, fruits, or vegetables, growing is one of the Grovi's favorite things to do.  

Their other favorite thing to do is play games, and not just any game, Novo Wars.

Novo Wars

Novo Wars is played by everyone on the planet Grov, they play it in school, at home, at work, and in the fields. If you don't play Novo Wars, you probably don't fit in.

Gameplay

Novo Wars is a multiplayer space shooter where you play as a space pilot on one of three teams; the green team, the blue team, or the red team. 

Each ship can change the color of the other player's ship by shooting them with their colored photons. When you get hit by a team from the red for example, your ship changes to red and you join their team. 

Each team has a planet they're trying to protect. This planet has a giant colored gem on the surface. When a player shoots the gem it turns that color. The objective of Novo Wars is to turn all 3 gems into your color. Do this, and you win.  

Green planet

Unfortunately for Slovo, he's not very good at Novo Wars, or at growing things. In fact, everything Slovo tries to grow, dies.  This is a problem for someone living on Grov. If you can't play Novo Wars and you can't grow things, well... then you really don't belong.

The story begins in the fields of Grov on Slovo's parent's farm.
